Indigenous Peoples Day at the University of Oklahoma (2019)

Applications to CS INCLUDES are open. The deadline has been extended to March 1, and the first group of scholarship recipients will be selected by March 15, 2023. Applications received by February 15 will receive highest priority. Later applications will be considered until all scholarships are awarded.

Apply for CS INCLUDES

To complete your application you will need to provide your name, phone number, email, describe your extra-curricular, cultural, and community activities and answer three short essay questions. The essay questions should be written in three separate Microsoft Word documents that will be uploaded. Essays should generally not exceed 300 words, and may be shorter. The questions are below:

  1. Describe your extracurricular activities. Give us the activity, your role, and dates of participation. Please include cultural and community activities, school organizations, clubs, athletics, academic activities, volunteerism and employment.
  2. Tell us a little bit about yourself and your relationships with your community(ies). Please include any involvement with Tribal Nations and/or Indigenous communities.
  3. Tell us what inspires you to pursue a Computer Science degree. Please describe how you might use your Computer Science degree to give back to Tribal Nations and/or Indigenous communities.

To apply for a CS INCLUDES scholarship, you need to be admitted to the University of Oklahoma and have submitted the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
